Restarting the Kaizers

So basically, during the Big Call of WIN! we were discussing restarting the Kaizers. Now, we'd probably have a different name, because, well, the Kaizers were a different group of people, a different set of friends. We don't really have some people in the group anymore, and we, well, we're just different. Now, the thing is, what would this entitle? Would we keep Kaizerpedia? Would we make a new wiki? If yes, where would we go? Shoutwiki is too laggy. Would Stars be involved? What would we call ourselves? How would we go about doing this? Would Sactage/Daniel be involved. Who would be involved? All things we pretty much need to know and I personally think it'd be a cool thing to do. But would something like last year happen?

Well, I'll probably support the idea as a whole, but I obviously don't want Stars involved and I dunno about names or sites or anything like that. We should obviously wait for those who aren't here's opinions (Xykeb, AK, TM).

I think that we should revive the Kaizers in some way, a new name or old one. Also, I think that we should keep Kaizerpedia regardless of the name chosen.

I'm for it. I was one of the few people that tried to not have the Kaizers disbanded in the first place. I definitely want to keep Kaizerpedia (or at least move some of the information to a new wiki), although we may get rid of some of the pages and change the Kaizer pages, etc.

I'd like to keep Kaizerpedia as well; I think in order to do so, however, we'll have to delete the pages that badmouth wikia and contact them so we can get rid of Stars.

I was also one of the few who wanted to keep it together. So yeah, I want to re-assemble. About the name, I'm okay with whatever, basically. The Kaizers is probably my first choice, though. Er, and I thought that I would just throw out the name the Zralivs, but Xykeb probably doesn't want to use it. I just wanted to throw it out, though.

Oh I'm absolutely confident Stars will not be involved in any of this. I don't think any of us really want her here anymore.

And as for the wiki, yeah, just get rid of the slag pages, Stars and then we'll be good.

I could care less any way this ends up. I guess I want to see the Kaizers reformed, but I don't really care for names and all that shtick.

I'm not sure. We could restart it, yes, but we should stop to consider what the actual point was in the first place. If someone can think of one, and it seems worthwhile, I'd be willing to support this.

I also think a different name could be nice in the event that we restart it, but I don't care all that much.

Well, it's not like we all need to be a part of it. If you or anybody else does end up deciding that they don't see a point in it, you don't need to rejoin. For that matter, there were some people that really were never that involved in the first place... CC comes to mind (he apparently never edited the wiki even to put information on his page).

Yeah, CC was never involved with the majority of it...I mean, I'm sure he'd rejoin or whatever, but he seems pretty busy and I doubt he'd be any more involved than he was last time.

Anyway, like Xykeb said, if you have a problem with anything the majority ends up deciding you can just choose not to rejoin. If most of us end up deciding we want this reformed, then it'll probably get reformed even if one person doesn't want it to or whatever.

So do we want it reformed? Or do we just want to let it sizzle out? I'm all for reforming

So am I; if we don't get a lot of replies to this I guess we can just seek out those who we decide to (re)invite and notify them, then set to work on the thecnicalities.

Should we start figuring out who wants to be in and who doesn't now? And what about random IRC-goers? I'm not really a fan of that though, since the Kaizers, or Random Group of People Formerly Known as the Kaizers™, were from last summer. Like, I'm cool with them possibly joining later on, emphasis on possibly, but currently, I'd like to see people from last year.

I think we probably should. We should decide who we want in now and then we'll individually (re)invite them and if they decide yes, then yeah. But I think we should just stick with the name Kaizers since it's there, polish KP up a little bit and get it ready, then seek everybody out or whatever.

I'm perfectly fine with a new name, but I'd prefer to stick with Kaizers simply by virtue of simplicity. Revamping KP entirely doesn't particularly appeal to me at the moment.

Either way, I'm in, obiviously.

As with Xykeb, a new name would be nice, but face it, we're a bunch of teenagers, we're lazy, do we really wanna go through the process of that?

And as for revamping KP, basically just getting rid of the articles relating to Stars, someone sending in a Special:Contact from to get her rights nixed. And then getting rid of the slagging articles. Other than that I think everything can stay.

And yeah, I'm down.

That's kinda what I meant by revamp. Just polish things up a little bit, Special:Contact to get rid of Stars, delete all of Stars's crap, remake our own pages, etc. Since we're sticking with KP, I assume, we should just stick with Kaizers, but yeah.

Anyway, we should probably decide who we want in now.

Assuming you're down, Minish. Since it'd be a bit of a waste to post here if you didn't. And I'm assuming TM is down. That's four. I'm up for this, and yes, I am also agreeing on the "get rid of Stars" notion due to... obvious reasons. The inactive members could be notified whenever they do return.
